GYMNASIA
Imagining New Spaces to Move
Born from my love of movement, sports, and world-building, Gymnasia is a conceptual project that reimagines the future of fitness. It explores how we might move, train, and connect in spaces designed not just for function, but also for identity, ritual, and expression.
Drawing from historical sites like the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair and San Francisco’s Sutro Baths (a favorite of Saint Andro's CD @leigh.ann.cobb.photo), Gymnasia uses these past spaces as a foundation to imagine something new: a place where strength is celebrated in all forms, and people are free to move their bodies just as they are.
This was also my first time experimenting with AI as a collaborative design tool, using it for prompt development, visual direction, and creative exploration.
